She has mastered musical phrasing in each of the pieces each which is already a part of the chords and scales. So she needs not go back… she plays the composition does not need to warm up either scales…she warms up playing the composition Why walk when you can already run, fly without need for take off…me, I just bought a book on all major minor scales…❤

This should not be taken as practicing advice if you're one of us mere mortals.

This might be redundant for those who are just learning and playing pieces. For improvisers it is important to do these

Vincenzo Scaramuzza school: technique must be developed directly on the musical pieces.

Every musician has a style, HIS/HER style, it's how they work, the movements, the phrases, the rhythms the standard intervalic relations, harmony... So basically you practice different exercises playing different authors, specially playing different genres, each genius of piano is like a different genre on its own...
Bach is more like working on scales and counterpoint, Chopin and Mozart the limits of melody, Beethoven works specially on rhytmical musical motives, Debussy on colors and harmonic layers... And so on

After reaching upper classes till you score a degree or a diploma, practice comes in the names of Czerny, Chopin and Liszt in terms of training pieces, thus etudes.Usuallu one of these etudes won't cover just one challenge for just the right or the left hand. Also they are pieces where you can feel the composers have truly put in the work in terms of melody to ensure that upon lerning the musician won't get bored or feel the etude doesn't offer anything else than just exercise.

Scales won't get anyone further past Middle Classes. That's a common truth out there.

Can somebody transcribe the low-contrast low-visibility red translation text?

If you playing that phrase, you are perfecting that phrase, which is the part of the song. Yea techniques is good, but the techniques in scales is not 100% applied to the phrase of the song, so if you're achieving the song, you must practice the technique in the song

Mistranslation...she says (to her husband) "You know how I practise"

And that's why she's truly a virtuosa. Normal people can't practice the way she does and get the same results.

shes literally just wrong lol. I practice chromatic and regular scales for a year then started beethoven pathetique sonata and the two flourishes on the first page, the descending Eb scale and descending chromatic and I like nearly had them in tempo in the first like half an hour. I have never done either of these scales in a piece before that.
