I've been a Kemper vs Pedal comparison video junkie for the past 3 days! Was literally hoping you'd make one, and lo and behold here it is!

Wow, tough one! I'm going with A is pedals, B is Kemper...but they both sound great. I think A has a little more bite and clarity...there's really not much in it though. What do we get if we are correct? ;)

Maybe I just set my kemper overdrives wrong... I’ve never liked them. I would guess A is Kemper and B is pedals but it’s close enough that both sound good.

I think A is the pedals and B is the Kemper. A is a smooth drive and cuts through the mix really well. B has an extra mid-range distortion character that sounds slightly grittier (not in a good way) with a flubbier bottom end. I’ll be truly shocked if it’s the other way around because A sounds much better to my ears.

I like both tones. I think B is better for chords like you have at the end but I think it might get to lost in a mix as it's kinda warmer/more open sounding. I think tone A sounded like it worked really well with the effects being used in the kemper rather tone B sound like it was more open and could like surround the effects

My answer is A is Kemper and B is Pedals.

I have a feeling that A was the Kemper and B was the pedals. For this video, I think I preferred B because it wasn’t as bright as A. But, in a mix on stage with a band, I would prefer A.

How do we get the settings you are using here freeeend ?

Excellent video Troy. Both samples sounds amazing and they both are so so close that is hard to guess, but I think A is Kemper and B is pedals 👍🏼 Bless

B is the Kemper. Both sound great, but A has more energy and punch. The Kemper is the best at emulating a tube amp, but I feel it’s impossible to emulate a great drive and a tube amp through profiling equipment.

Of course I could be wrong on my guess! Either way your tones are always on point Troy!

Both sound great! I thought A sounded better with single not leads and B sounded better with open chords.

Tough to tell. This is why I use the built in drives in my Kemper. I'm going to say A is Kemper, B is Pedals, but it is close. Nice video!

I haven't listened to the whole thing but I think the second sample sounds better... Now let's see who wins.

I would not know which one is Kemper or which is analogous, but example A sounds really better to me

A is sharper and more cutting. Not having the pedals or kemper I have no idea which is which but I preferred A.

I think A was Kemper and B were pedals. B was my preference as far as tone but it was pretty close

B definitely sound like the actual pedals. But it doesn’t sound better, just more like what I’m used to. They both sound killer.

A Kemper B Pedals. Great video brother, they both do sound amazing

Love these kinds of videos! B sounds a tad less dynamic so I’m guessing that B is the Kemper
