HEMA - High intensity duel (Sigi Montante vs The Iberian twohanded trainer)

This small duel is made of two sparring sessions with Philipp Lechner @doppelsoldner (Philipp in red and golden legs, me with the brown plush trousers on the right side). He is one of the best german longsword fencers and already won the german longsword titel in 2022. Yes I beat him with the Zweihänder / Montante a couple of times, but he is defenetly the fast and deadlier fencer with longswords. I had to close the distance as fast as possible to beat him in close combat.

The swords are made by Sigi Forge and Regenyei armory.

For context Dequitem(brown legs) and me (golden Legs) had almost 4 Hours of sparring in the burning sun.. where we could tear into each other with these huge montantes…

I can really say kudos to you Dequitem for being a very skilled fencer with excellent grappling and the stamina and power of a real athlete.

Really pushed ourselves to the Limits here, and I took Home a Lot of learnings from our sparrings
