Asian Military soldiers are seriously noooo joke... my uncle and my dad are US Marines and the all the stories are captivating...the best was about their time in the Philippines and my Uncle was in Korea and the stories he told of Korean Marines blow my mind....

These guys train Kali, Escrima, Silat, etc. All deadly arts meant for war and killing, not self defense. Totally different mindset than your average martial artist.

I swear I've seen a Kali practicioner doing a demonstration showing the same movements the Filipino soldier here did, you could say looks like a genuine knife dance. Graceful, fluid, and dangerously beautiful to see.

We called it Arnis, khali, eskrima, fighthing style of our ancestors here in Philippines in which it is focusing in figthing using weapons like sticks, knifes, locking style, grappling, and hand to hand combat, its a very dangerous style was even prohibited by spaniards to used and continue praciting for it, but our ancestors succesfully preserved this style. And this was one of the reasons why we always win in hand to hand combat in multiple wars. Its the same style who ended up magellans expidations and killed magellan. If we have enough weapons at that time spaniards could not colonize our country.
