In this map we explore different ways to -paint- the same dataset. Depending on where you decide to place -class-breaks- the resulting effect can be quite different.

(Note: Early in the video I mention this to be -Population Density- but later correct myself, we are looking at -Population Counts-. All per county. A discussion of variable reporting areas and the modified areal unit problem is covered in the video on choropleth mapping.)

Thanks for the video! The explanation was very clear and better than anything I've heard so far :)

please, help me🙏
I have two rasters that have same columns & rows, and count pixels.
But, when I reclassify them with natural breaks, both of rasters have differences maximum number of classes.
Raster A can be reclassified with natural breaks and maximum number of classes is 256 classes
while raster B can be reclassified with natural breaks and maximum number of classes is 239 classes

I need some explanations why this is happened?
Thank you🙏
