And speaking of that aggressive acceleration, it occurs AFTER the turn is mostly completed. The actual problem is when it sits in the middle of the road, and slowly continues to creep. I guarantee any honest FSD beta tester would much rather have a constant acceleration into 20 mph at the end of the turn, instead of creep, creep, creep, FLOOR IT TO 50 MPH!!!

Came here and subscribed from a Chuck Cook comment, just wanted to say Thanks!
[Edit] I'm so sorry about your strikes.

Unprotected lefts are hard. In my city there is talk about not allowing them.

Still quite a hair-raising experience, especially with its misunderstanding of the unmarked roadway entrance, but I'm certainly impressed with the UPL behavior compared to prior versions.

I wonder if the "Please pay attention" flags are for looking left and right at the intersection. The software has to allow the driver not to look straight when they're about to enter an intersection...

Thanks for sharing, Jon!

At 01:35 perfect left turn without blocking anyone, using the left turn lane as a safe region. Would have done it the same.

You talk about getting in the middle when making the left turn from the paring lot. Is that because there is no “defined” lane there and the car doesn’t realize there should be two lanes?

That junction could benefit from a roundabout.

I don't think any road should have unprotected left turns, especially a 4 way road like that, even humans struggles with that.

Same problem with me: takes the middle so other cars cannot turn right and sometimes I am so far to the right that other cars squeeze on left of me to turn left when I am also trying to turn left!

When you were navigating in the parking lot in the beginning of the video, the P for autopark showed in the FSD graphics. I wanted to find out when you activate autopark it uses same graphics for parking or something different.

That is a pretty horrifying intersection

It’s a tough gig testing UPL. Chuck Cook has also seen that this version has regressed in this area. That’s how it goes. Two steps forward, one step back.

Were you watching the display too much when you got the strikes?

I just got FSD beta 12.3.20 last week and I see you have FSD beta 12.3.20. What’s up with that? My version will make some city street turns, but will not go from point A to B with zero interventions. It really sucks. ANYONE????

Thanks for the video, but what is "reverse signal"?

Yes, Elon is starting to over promise and under deliver with FSD releases.

...AI works. The car makes clumsy left turns, and decides to do the only logical thing...blame the human.

"Elon Musk is a big fat liar"... that's more profound than it sounds, by an order of magnitude...😄
