The shimmered demolitionist looks less like a 'viking' and more along the lines of a Tolkienian dwarf. Which is.. y'know, kinda fitting for an NPC who is canonically a dwarf.

Fun Fact, the Zoologist’s Shimmered look is a revamped version of an old Zoologist sprite designed by Crowno.

The reason the Shimmered Mechanic turns into a goblin is so she can be the same species as the Goblin Tinkerer, since the two of them have a thing for each other. I think it's cute.

Referring to the dye trader as everyone's least favorite NPC is questionable considering the goblin tinkerer and angler exist.

I think the Santa resprite might be based off of Ded Moroz (or Father Frost), which is pretty much the Russian version of Santa. Very cool!

Dryad's shimmer skin is actually her dd2 corruption mode mechanic skin, im both suppriced and not suppriced that relogic chose this as the shimmer skin 😃🤔

Fun facts:
In his normal form he very closely resembles a blue oyster mushroom... which is edible. Also he's implied to be edible by the Clothier so this is very likely the type of mushroom he is.
Tho his white spots may debunk that, I couldn't find any white spotted blue mushroom with both flared gills and a domed cap like the truffle has, and clothier still seems pretty fixated on eating him.
His shimmer form is almost certainly a fly amanita, which is poisonous.
3 of his possible names are a direct reference to the fly amanita. While all of his other names are edible mushrooms besides two. Leinspores which isn't directly referencing a species of mushroom, and Reishi which is a medicinal mushroom.
