I only listened for five minutes, but it seems to me that LEO-Liner AKA Starliner: Launched with known failed components. More of those components failed in flight. The software was reported to not be able to fly the ship down autonomously. It is consuming one of the station docks. Engineers are saying don't put people in it. Management (other reasonable? people Ha) are very likely pushing engineers to do that "Apollo 13 thing" and make it work. So it looks like you can't fly it back with people and it can't fly itself back so it's stuck there. Ouch.

Isn’t the thruster technology already very mature? We sent people to the moon 50 years ago. Don’t understand why Boeing still has issues with thrusters. BTW. The scariest part is the software, it’s ridiculous that only manned configurations is onboard and it takes a month to switch to a new configuration. It must be that there are issues with the automatic configuration.

It's was unsafe on its first flight, and has done no better, if anything worse.

Starliner is a colossal waste of resources. Boeing should focus on making better, safer, airliners.

This program has been pushed on the idea "We need options! It's good to have options! That way no one company has a monopoly because the intrinsically corrupt concept of communism can't be trusted!"
