I would bet the majority complaining about B.A’s business class have never used it. It’s nowhere near as bad as the seat layout looks and the food varies from very good to outstandingly good. Sure they are no longer the prestige airline they were 20+ years ago but with some of the deals I get I use them without hesitation.

Done the trip to San Diego from LHR In buisiness a couple of times on both B777 and B747 .... LOVED IT!

21:30 in my opinion, I’ve never had any horrible experiences with British Airways like a lot of others have had. They are still decent, but they are no where near the “Worlds Favorite Airline” that they used to be before 2010. Some of the cost cutting measures that have taken place in BA have just ruined the airline. Sad reality.

Flew American Airlines from LHR to Miami as it has business class seats 1-2-1, the same as Cathay Pacific from whom they license the design....far better comfort and privacy.

I flew BA last week and got this old business class seating and configuration. Window seats have awful access to aisle, except for the last row...which i had to pay extra to reserve in advanced. Foot rest that folds down and thus impede access to window seats is such a design failure. Switch to raise the divider or blinds (so you don't end up staring at someone all throughout the flight) is hidden on top of the seats.
Food was great and service was impeccable...!

Hope you enjoy our city! This flight is the only reason I have BA and OneWorld loyalty. BA is just not good unfortunately but, we don’t have many options in San Diego for transatlantic flights.

While I would say any business class is better than economy; 2-4-2 is just absolutely disgusting for a business class product on any airline trying to claim it's one of the worlds premier carriers. I've seen coffins with more space. Lucky the food looked decent.

I really don't understand some airlines obsession (BA, AA in particular) with closing the window shades on daytime flights in Business Class and First Class! If people want to sleep, they have eye shades in their amenity kits. I like to look out of the window and enjoy the daylight. It is also better to use natural light so that you can suffer jet lag a little less.

An enjoyable video. I think BA is the only airline flying directly to San Diego from LHR, so that most probably the reason that the flight was full.

I had the same Issue at Train stations in Europe. Everyone would just be uncomfortably standing in the main area waiting for a track assignment.

If you’d come in on the A350 that would have been a B or C gate arrival you could have done flight connections at B saving you the hassle of going to the busy main terminal. Also *most* of the big jets will go from B or C gates however some *CAN* go from the bus gates at A10. You can get from A to B to C or back via the walkways under the transit without having to go via flight connections again.

Flew BA ClubWorld LHR to CPT on a 747 in June. Whilst the cabin layout was diabolical (no direct aisle access for window seats), the service and food were great. However the poor old Queen of the Skies was looking tired and could have done with a good clean. Re this video loved the LHR take off views. Also loved the whine of those engines.
