British Airways 777 NEW Business Class Review | DXB - LHR [4k]

My review of British Airways brand new Club Suites business class onboard a refitted Boeing 777-300 from Dubai through to London.

I was really excited to try out their new product offering onboard the 777 aircraft. As ever with British Airways it was a case of so close yet so far when reflecting back on how they compare vs the very best across the industry. The new seat, is undoubtably is class leading across Europe and North America. It rights all the issues called out as downsides on the previous design and boasts incredible levels of privacy for a business class seat.

Areas to improve for the airline are largely around the soft offering with just 6 staff deployed across a 3 cabin business class stretching almost the length of the aircraft. This led to the service feeling rushed and things forgotten. The airline is not set up currently to allow the service to focus on the small things which really matter.

The price paid for this ticket was around £500 and 24,000 Avios points booked on a return basis. The typical cash price for the ticket return starts around £2000 - £2500 return.

We travelled on BA in April when we went to Florida abd the food was questionable . Not what you expect in Business class. The breakfast was a bacon and chutney roll . Mine had a lump missing and the crew served it to me ! My brand new suitcase was wrecked to. When we got back I complained . BA sent me £200 evoucher and a brand new suitcase. I did love the seating and enjoyed the privacy of the pods. Going virgin next time !

The new Club Suite is such an upgrade - lovely for daylight trips but for overnight flights it's pretty tight foot end wise.

Very good review. I like flying BA due to high safety but the service is always a hidden miss. I booked my flight to São Paulo on the new 777. I hope I’m hoping for a good night sleep I stopped having any expectations regarding the service provided.

Hi - curious to know which flight time was this? The LHR-DXB business class 777/787 flight always tends to be the ying yang set up opposed to what you’ve flown on.
