I'd be curious to see what sources you used for this. I appreciate seeing someone actually give African history some love. I also like that you actually included one of the civil wars. But some of the territorial expansions are questionable. For example, you have Songhai bordering Lake Chad, but that never happened. Lake Chad was surrounded by the Kanem-Bornu Empire. Also Songhai never conquered all of Hausalands which would've been a buffer zone between Songhai and Kanem-Bornu.

While I appreciate the fact that people are giving African more attention, this video is terribly inaccurate in so many ways and frankly looks rushed.
