Because women where considered property. The bible's pretty clear about owning another as property, it's clearly fine with it. You should be ashamed that you think it's morally acceptable to be owned or own another as property. I don't think you're honest about biblical slavery at all. People like Dr. Joshua Bowen have already addressed all the things you're saying, and it just makes you look bad. Like really, really bad. You're a good example of why people are fleeing Christianity in droves.
