I always wondered about being able to download knowledge. Assuming it would be accessible, practical, relatively simple, and affordable, anyone could just be anything they wanted. If I wanted to be a doctor, I could just download a shit-ton of necessary and relevant knowledge, and just like that I'm qualified to be a doctor. Downloading knowledge would make education obsolete.

I had goosebumps when he talked about the 'memory prosthesis' as it reminded me of the technology in one of the episodes of Black Mirror, which is related but quite different:
People had this "Grain"; a pea-sized memory implant outside their skull (from what I could tell), connected to their visual and audio-sensory input, that could store decades worth of memories simultaneously as you experienced them. You could play every single second of those stored memories at your leisure via wireless connection to playback devices.
