The first story was absolutely horrific. These men were not just robbing the home, they were disgusting human being that tortured a woman by their disgusting sexual abuse. Then murdered her she was absolutely terrified and in a lot of pain then lost her life. The others burned to death. If there was a death penalty there these are the men it’s for. They should never have seen the light of day.

Sad. I have a friend named Vu from Viet Nam, he moved to my 'hood in metro Atlanta in '75, both of us were teens. He's a great friend, has done well, works for a major tech company, fellow trekker. An exemplary citizen and all-around great guy, IN SPITE of what he had to go through in almost losing his whole family to the communists AND moving to a culture shock you can't imagine.
I don't get some people, but I for one am glad he's here with us to celebrate life and freedom, and I'm always grateful to be here and now.

In my opinion, you should never allow yourself to be bound by an assailant. That's the point at which you can be almost certain you will be killed afterward, so you should fight for your life to prevent that from occurring.

There's a good chance you will still die, but at the very least you will create a crime scene that will compromise the perpetrator.

Stockton, CA is my hometown. I was surprised to see it on your list. I was a small kid when the school shooting happened and my friend was shot in the foot. He's a police officer now and I'm very proud of him. Condolences to the families of those who lost their lives that day.
