EK products are so expensive but I’ve never had a single problem with them ever so it’s well worth the price. Their support team is out of this world compared to other tech companies as well.

My Laing D5 Vario pump (purchased 11/17/2004) just turned 18 years old 2 days ago, and has been running my loops 24/7 since I bought it. The DDC is still a great choice in space limited builds, but the oldest DDC pump I've heard about lasted between 8-9 years and wasn't always ran 24/7. My opinion is that if you have the space for it, ALWAYS opt for a genuine D5. Old school water cooling veterans are not kidding around when we call the D5 legendary, if you treat it well, it's a part you'll only need to buy once.

Surprised you didn't mention the dual D5 pump! Using it now and with a reservoir and two radiators it runs my 5950x ice cold (28 idle/52 under load) and has the added benefit of redundancy, if one fails it won't suddenly crash CPU from excessive heat. But excellent vid and some great content introducing alternatives in water cooling.

I got ek reservoir pump combo still holding up even though acrylic cracked over time. Just drops liquid level overtime. Still super impressive
