I worked at Paramount Studios when Bosom Buddies was being shot. On my lunch hours I liked watching the rehearsals of the sitcoms. I had a lot of shows to choose from, but ultimately I always chose watching Bosom Buddies because of the great cast. Tom gave me a nickname one day, Eddie Rabbit, after the country music star. Peter Scolari was just as talented as Hanks and their rapport with each other was genuine.

Great story about Peter Scolari told by his good friend Tom. He was an excellent actor and will be sorely missed. Tom almost burst into tears at the end...truly bosom buddies.

I loved Bosom Buddies when I was a kid, and I loved Peter Scolari on Newhart, too. Watching Tom Hanks well up at the end made me lose it. Cancer truly does suck.

He was clearly overcome with emotion at the end over the loss of a dear friend. He seems like such a beautiful person.

I was lucky enough see a live taping of "Bosom Buddies" at Paramount Studios on Gower St. in Hollywood with a scene with Tom Hanks, Peter Scolari & Holland Taylor with my friends Boy Scout field trip. I must have been 8 or 9 years old. And as young as I was, I knew there was something special about Hanks. RIP Peter
