Thanks for this video. I have very limited knowledge about electronics and some parts of this crafting were a little too fast for me to understand how to put things in place. I will keep my research, but this video makes some valid observations. I loved the honesty about the parts that after some use become loose and stopped working as expected

I've made some giant 7 segment displays for a giant (jumbo) digital clock I'm working on. uses some LED modules with a plastic housing and adhesive backs, have 3 LEDs in a row and have wires on each end arranged as a 7 segment display, I have some various boards for driving them using shift registers and CD4511 BCD - 7 seg decoders and a board that has an RTC and 328p (arduino nano essentially) that will drive the digit board drivers

Hi! Is it possible to set the driver for doing the next. A motor axis ("wheel" further) rotation is clockwise 60 rpm. Torque on the wheel is 10 Nm. I push the wheel counterclock-wise and make two or three rev overcoming a force of 10 Nm. Then I let the wheel go and it moves clockwise as usual.

Pretty cool! The larger servos are expensive, I diy what I can. @14:149 The whine is the pwm drive being heard from the motor, if I'm right.

It's often good to use supersonic PWM frequencies when driving motors so they don't sing.

The whine is from it being driven via pwm, and also it being undervolted

The motor nameplate states 80 W. Yet it is rated at 24 V, yet you say it only uses 1.5 A at full load. Sounds like you have found a free source of energy.

A remark on your testing. It might have been better to let it keep a horizontal position, and you keep adding water until it can no longer hold (i.e. discover the maximum holding torque). The way testing is done now, is less accurate as well as that the weight swinging around adds so many dynamic factors with peak-loads exceeding far above the average load. These peak loads can wreak havoc on the mechanics, and I expect that these high peak stresses caused the PLA to break (because PLA has no 'give' before its failure point, a high 'hardness'). Also, the servo arm changing position all the time means that the net torque varies a lot because of the force vector of the mass of the load being non perpendicular to the servo arm.
Of course nylon would be better for the pulleys, and if you have a modified 3D printer it is definitely printable as well.
