'Piatti of the month', Alfredo Piatti - Caprices op.25, no.4 Allegretto

For 2024 I decided to prepare and record 1 of the 12 Patti's Caprices op.25 per month. This February it was time for caprice no. 4.

A really big thanks to the Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds for their hospitality to let me record in their ‘instrument chamber’. 6 years ago I played this beautiful English cello, which the NMF has given on loan to me, for the first time in this very special room. Many young Dutch musicians might feel a similar sentiment towards this place
