This is a very helpful lesson, Giles. There's a great many videos on backswing, but not nearly as many on a proper follow-through. I'll be saving this one to refer to again in the future.

Excellent basket drill Giles for a golfer to determine if he/she is getting a proper weight transfer. By combining your recommended extension and tilt or side bend, this is a great combination. Since I am an in to out swinger, I will remember to have a high finish follow through! Well Done Giles!

Nice one Giles. Thank you. As (when not playing) I enjoy watching people tee off as I’m lucky to have the tee of a Par 3 basically as my backyard. The most common mistake I see if golfers falling backwards rather than forwards (about 3 to 1). I’m a huge believer in holding your follow through for the same reasons plus it also allows me to keep an eye on the ball post impact.

Thank you, good lesson. For seniors I would recommend though to do foot strengthening exercises (you find them on YouTube). I suffered for month with a nasty ankle injury as my left foot collapsed with the swing through. Your advise to flare out the left foot (in other lessons) is really helpful to prevent injury. Maybe the focus on keeping the toes up will help too, will try that.

Giles- These 2 different drills at the end seems to me could help some golfers work the ball in different directions on the course? However I usually do this with my feet and stance. Open for a fade, and closed for a draw.

I naturally end in the umbrella up finish with irons. Do I need to add the extra arm fold?
