Ok, we open the Kimono and show you three different off grid solar power systems including one with the awesome Simpliphi Lithium Ion Battery (they're technically lithium ferrous phosphate).

These include a small DC solar system suitable for a cabin, one AC solar power system for a small house and one larger system for a house/shop.

off grid Solar power systems can be configured and priced to match your budget, don't let it get in the way of you and your cabin in the woods!

I'm working on my offgrid home solar. I'm at 1200watt mono panels. 2charge controllers. Running 24v. With a 5kw inverter. I'm building up the battery bank. And working on a lithium bank. It's at 108ah. Can't wait until its at around 1000ah. With a 200ah lead acid Bank. I am using a few DC led lights. Saving the ac lighting for when needed. With a gas tankless water heater. And getting a gas stove! Great video

Boys, l love my camp stove toaster better than our electric toaster. Make sure to get a solar oven for late Spring and Summer cooking. We got a foldable no name one on Ebay that's just like a Sinflair but alot less money. We cook chicken in our small black enamel roaster pan and it's always juicy and fall off the bone without heating up our house. Keep up the Dream with your Beautiful family! Love and God Bless America! Uncle Jeff!

not only a Hydro specialist but a pro commentator's head is surely growing it's a good job he did not put his head in the compartment where the little red light was showing it was on charge OR HE WOULD HAVE GOT IT STUCK, what size hat do you wear nowadays?

All those little boxes and wires and stuff to perhaps fail is why I use small individual pv panels to run small air compressors and save my power in giant air (most being formerly propane) tanks. I call that my Air Battery. So I have a tiny $25 pv panel, a small 12-volt motor driving a little compressor and some receivers (tanks) . . . AND either a piston or turbine "steam" (read that 'air') engine coupled to either an ac or a dc generator. I make power for my freezer(s) as they require it. The biggest take-away here is, I live my life "intentionally". Purpose drives motive.😊

All the off grid humor. I fixing to pee my pants, but being off grid, I don't have a washer/dryer. Sooo...I guess I'm gonna have to waddle outside and 🚶‍♀️ 🤣

Those 300watt solar panels are awesome. My old system has 255watt modules and I'm going to install a few LG bifacial 385watt can't wait to see the output

Beautiful solar power systems! Don't think I want to know what you got into your shop system...wait yes I do...want to get my own like that! Great video!

Dave, If I were rich, I'd hire a solar engineer (not Jeff) and send you a pre-packaged shed to shut Jeff up for ten years! :)
I loved the prawn traps! You guys are great together.

Great system For off grid. Grid tied is great with back up Batteries.

You guys are real solar pannel X perts !
Wish I was your neighbor but I have a 40 ' motorhome about 8000 Lbs. It would sink with rain and moisture 😟

So when I had my solar array installed, the salesman asked me if I wanted one inverter or an inverter for each panel. Seems one inverter will limit power to that produced by the least efficient panel in the array. This question came right after I said I wanted the array to be set up to be attached to the grid for now but so that I could put in batteries later when batteries get better so I did not have to mess with the acid/hydrogen gas/distilled water stuff. Caught me from such a bad mental angle that I replied 'one on each panel' without really thinking about it. After all, HE was the expert even though I had tried to learn all I could before talking to the salesman. During installation I realized the system setup would not allow for that. The electrician confirmed that to feed a battery bank in the future I would have to place a single inverter to DC downstream of the panel inverters that were pumping out AC. I hope that is going to be as easy as it sounds and not much of a drop in power because those lithium ferrophosphate batteries like you have (SimpliPhi at about US $2800) are what I was hoping would come along. Anyway, those of you planning for solar now - batts later, don't make the mistake I did.
