Simple, easy way of storing that superglue tube (Cyanoacrylate) you've only used a drop of, ready for the next time you need it a month or more later! (Understand the setting reaction to unlock the solution).

I needed to fix something which broke and only needed a drop of superglue. I thought i'd share this tip on how to make the glue last much longer.

If you turn it upside down during storage, it won't dry out either. Not sure how to make two minutes of video explaining this though.

Never use your bare fingers to wipe off any kind of Cyanoacrylate adhesive unless you want them to stick to anything!!

Actually, this isn't all that useful because the main reason why CA glue sets in a bottle, is because when you pour out a little, a little bit of air also goes into the bottle or tube, introducing some additional moisture with it. So it's really hard to keep CA glue from setting in a bottle. The only solution would be to use really small bottles so you only have to throw away a little bit when it sets. Don't buy big bulk bottles would be the best solution.

i think if you squeeze the air out before capping that will prevent it from curing.

A bit like watching glue dry... oh, it was watching glue dry. Simple fact: remove air from opened CA glue tube or container, by any means, and the glue won't go 'off' and ruin its further use. Makes you wonder how society might be dumbed down to a point where someone feels the need to do a video like this. Reading the instructions on any tube of glue will give you the answers. If you really need a YouTube video to use CA glue properly then you probably shouldn't be using CA glue in the first place. Cheers, BH
