Was the Dad thinking this defendant was rich? Impound fees are huge! How could this kid pay all that?

I’ve decided not to buy this car! It’s totaled!😅

“I believe, “I wanna say”, I’d like to say”, “it would’ve been”,
can’t the plaintiff’s give a straight answer..🤦‍♂️
Surprised JJ didn’t correct them.
$239 😂😂

They never called the tow yard [even if it was couple days later] and just decided to sue. Makes me think they were hustling to get money because they knew the car is not worth even the least possible tow +storage fees

JJ managing to throw shade onto every litigant, all at once, makes my day! 😂😂😂

The young man should still be responsible. Maybe not to go get the car at the tow company, but money that was owed for the damages he caused. Just pure negligence.

Did anyone count how many times Judge Judy mocked the only "grownup" in the room?

Defendants logic - I am interested in buying the vehicle so can I test drive it/use it?

Also the defendant - I have absolutely zero money to pay for the tow because I have other bills.

A case of tweedle dee, tweedle dum. This Dum Dum plaintiff gave the defendant some kind of ridiculous joy ride for him just thinking of buying the vehicle. No down payment, nothing. Luckily they got anything out of the case

$239!? How did no one question that number? I've never seen a car valued in the 100's, especially one that isn't ancient.

Oh, this is just foolish. You do not loan a car to someone who is potentially buying the car. If the person is going to take it for a test drive, they can't do it unless you (the owner) are in the vehicle with them. I disagree with the judge about the one plaintiff who is the only grown up in the room, given that what he did was foolish as well.

So stupid, one don't lend your car out, two if it's in an accident you get your ass out there and take care of it that day.

*In 2024, * the Kelley Blue Book shows value of 2001 Mustang Coupe starting at *$3, 627.* I think Byrd read out something wrong.

You can't get any running car for 239$....

He wasn't going to buy the car he had no money, as he admitted...he lied and said he wanted to borrow the car so he could get to work to pay his "other legal bills". You don't trust losers like that, he got away with crashing someones car and now they don' have a car because of him. lol

Byrd saw the value of a totaled/salvage title mustang otherwise $239 isnt making sense. Also they weren't sueing for the car but impound tickets

Irresponsible for loaning the car out to this friend period! They didn't disclose how the friend totaled the car?

I have the EXACT same hoodie as the plaintiff’s son. 😅
