If everybody knows about the recession signal and back then nobody did or very few then how is it going to be acting moving forward? Is it not going to be valid anymore?

Got plenty of money printing (DXY down) to buy corporate bonds (HYG up) creating liquidity for stock buybacks (record stock buybacks) makes XLF and the institutions feel good, giving them confidence to go out and buy tech, and other sector stocks. Lack of selling volume in the tech and other sectors tells us this won't end any time soon because every selling day is on very light volume with no follow through days and when tech goes down, XLF, XLI, XLV, XLY, IWM and XLRE go up.
