Okay this is super cute and amazing but the thing about lip oils that most people don’t realize is that they’re supposed to be more of a treatment like a balm or a lip mask but more daily. It’s sort of meant to soak in and moisturize, soften etc. the lips rather than give it a shine. This is the perfect way to get a natural look! Amazing job! Hope this helps someone!

i love wearing lipstick by just really lightly patting a bullet lipstick on so it just gives this similar wash effect, but i use less product overall. i mostly wear dior lipstick so i don't want to be wasteful. i find the trick works particularly well with the dior addict line because the finish is a little sheer anyway

I usually use a dab of lipstick and rub it in until it stains my lips that way i dont waste a bunch. Using a lip brush helps too.

I've being doing this hack for years. It also works well when you want a hint of colour, have many lipsticks, but don't want a full on bright lip.

I also like to use a clear gloss that has micro glitters or a pearlescent shine to it to really make my lips look glossy.

I have been doing this for months. It looks so pretty. On my skin tone, i do this with purple lipstick, and when I blot it out, it makes a gorgeous mauve colour ❤️

Me being proud on myself...I used to do this when I was in school years ago when there wasn't internet at my house... And used tp apply vaseline after cleaning the lipstick...& It always gave a natural look 🥱💕
