I still have my Realistic CB base station I got in 1981. Lived in Homestead Fla. went through Hurricane Andrew and spent time directing truckers coming down the Florida turnpike helping them get to the farmers market

This was fantastic to watch. Oh my gosh. I was a kid in the late 70s and my parents had a CB. I used to know the trucker lingo. I loved hearing it again.

Good stuff man, I've always been a radio enthusiast . I wouldn't want your job but I appreciate the humor . I always had a good sounding radio in my in my cruiser. I was a County Mounty first a few years, then I finally made it to be a Smokey Bear for 8 years. I was always a friend to drivers and treated them respectfully because I know the stress they're under, and I know everything I buy, wear, or eat, got there by a truck . I only had a few encounters with stupid drivers, as I'm sure you have officers . Then after 12 years total I was just burnt out on stupid people . Now, I call myself Paul Blart with a gun. I do armed security, more money, less BS. Hope you're doing well, I just stumbled across this by accident and I thought it was great . Keep it up and stay safe out there ... SHINY SIDE UP !

I was born in ‘76 and my Granddad, “Lobo”, drove for years and retired from ABF. When I was a kid he always had a CB radio in his vehicle and I used to love to hear him radio his buddies... Or whatever you would call that. That was a long time ago - it was so much fun!

Enjoyed that I knew one guy years ago that talked cb all the time, run across him anywhere anytime, away from his truck see him on the street and he'd say break pull toy get back, actually at times embarrassing, such as in church, pull toy here.
