I got a request to do this quick video. You will get a crash course on how to be cool on the cb radio. I discuss simple 10 codes and a few slang terms.

QRZ means "identify your station."

No No No, you got to be getting the lingo straight.  You got to come with something like "Yep, we be truckin', cigarette sucking, popping pills, climbing hills, drinkin' wine and feeling fine."  Got it?

Hmm. I don't remember saying that, but I may have. I do know that it means who is calling me aka i am looking for calls. I use it a lot on 20 meters. haha. Maybe i'll catch you on the air sometime.

hardly any police dept agency uses 10 codes any more, in 2005, the U.S. federal government recommended they be discontinued in favor of everyday language. And Nineteen states were planning to change to plain English as of the end of 2009.

Love the CB but a lot of people foul language on it is down right disgusting especially If one has his kids in the car, along with dirty racist remarks, this drives a lot of people away from using it.

I don't mind you skippers using the cb but stay off 19 your disrupting trucker communications. We need that channel to pass important info back and forth. We're tired of listing to children playing with their toys.
