I just bought a house. I paid for title insurance. After buying it and getting a deed with stamp I get a call from the county attorney saying that the land I bought was already sold at tax sale and my deed didn’t mean anything. Now I’m in clams. I lost 5 acre out of 10. And 4 of it is land locked now? How do the figure damages and lost. Not counting delay it’s been almost a year. I feel it devalued it as a whole even though it’s like 4 lots to an acre of trees and a creek. House is valued alone at 80k I paid half that.
