First of all I love your vids 🫶🏽

I am german and I really don’t like our people, they are very grumpy and not so nice when it comes to other people, everyone only thinks about themselves. I’ve been born here and those personality traits make me very sad and depressed and how they think about the prestent generation is very sad. I would love to move to Switzerland and maybe I will do this if I can pick myself up and have the courage to do so.

As a German I really can’t recommend Berlin. But I would suggest you have a look yourself and see how things are going. Though not speaking German is extremely problematic in Germany. It’s easier in Berlin, but still.

Being a digital nomad and traveling around is fun, but it can also be quite draining and difficult to keep up with relationships (glad you and Dave were able to reunite!). It leads to a life of transience and fleeting encounters (still special, but hard to hold on to). Yes, good to recognize that an anchor of sorts is helpful!

I love the vibes you capture here, Beijing looks lovely! (Ahh, the jianbing and kaofu look so good.) You seem really suited to life in Beijing (and aww, your favorite city) - curious as to why you're set on Berlin in the future? But I guess you've said you're still mulling over the place you want to call home, you'll figure it out 💖

I wonder, have you ever been to Berlin? Do you know how it feels to be there? I think you don't have to make a "right" decision. You can change it in every moment if it doesn't feel right anymore. You don't have to search for THE right place. So my recommendation would be to do what feels right - right now. You don't have children like me, so you have lots of freedom. AND you can work remote!

11:58 Berlin is very expensive. Germany is in recession and full of migrants from Afghanistan, Siria etc. In Europe we expect to come more people from other war zones like Lebanon or Gaza. Is not that safe place that it use to be. I as a European find China /and Asia in general/ far more interesting. Stay in China pls. Very beautiful video! Thank you, Eveline.
