Covid is back in Beijing!
In this video we share with you what life has been like in Beijing with this recent covid outbreak over the past few weeks. It has certainly been a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions and the anxiety and uncertainty is real. Just as things start to look better then something else happens and everything is constantly changing.
Fingers crossed things get better soon for us and everyone in Shanghai who have suffered a lot more.

My wife and I spent 67 days in strict compound and apartment lockdown while in Shanghai, and then another 14 days in hotel quarantine in another city once we were able to leave Shanghai. 81 days in total was pretty tough going but we were lucky compared to many others in Shanghai. We had one another, was able to work remotely during that time, unlike a lot of friends of ours who were alone in their apartments and unable to work. There is no furlong scheme here in China so if you don’t work (unable to work because of the lockdown) no pay! That was a big stress for a lot of people (on top of the Covid stresses). Keep well guys and take care. Beijing is doing it right so you’ll be fine 🙏😊👍

With America having 1 million deaths and China having around 6 thousand deaths due to the CoV. I would say China is handling it much much much better considering china has a much bigger population and a more concentrated population at that in their cities.
