The most fascinating thing about this to me is how long the piece of paper had to be given how small the printing was.  I guess I didn't really have a good concept of how big 1 million is.  Maybe I have a better one now.

This should be printed out in concrete somewhere.

A lot of people would like to find special dates somewhere in PI and take a picture of it.

I would.

2:25 To be fair, they did technically manage to memorise the next 0 digits of Pi...

Is nobody else commenting on the fact that we've now seen CGP Grey on camera, yet don't know which one he is?

This video only Confirms my assertion that Matt Parker is the closest thing we have to The Doctor.

I can tell you *all* the digits of pi in 1 minute....
All I have to do is tell you the first number, then wait 30 seconds, then tell you the second number, and wait half that time. I tell you the third number, and wait half THAT time until I say the next number, I keep doing this until 1 minute is up, and viola! I have listed all the digits of pi!

Thats right, I watch Vsauce

The video is 6:28 long... half of 6.28 = pi... HALF LIFE CONFIRMED!

The next time CGP Grey is at an event like this could you please make sure he's wearing a Waldo shirt?

The longest sequence of digits without a two-digit sequence not appearing (before a million) happens at about 82, 000 where there is a run of 1385 digits without "88".

According to Britney Gallivan's Paper Folding Theorem, this mile long strip could be folded in half only *12* times.

Length of paper required for n foldings in half:
L = (pi*t)/6  (2^n + 4)(2^n - 1)
where t is paper thickness (assumed to be 0.1mm)

You know what makes this even better? That the video is 2π (tau) minutes long!
