ISHRS Golden Follicle, 2008: Each year, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery presents select surgeons with the Golden Follicle award. The award celebrates elite surgeons and their contributions to furthering the advancement of hair restoration surgery, as demonstrated by superior patient outcomes. Dr. Rose was awarded the Golden Follicle in 2008.

Michelangelo Award, 2002: Each year, the prestigious Michelangelo Award is given by the internationally recognized Italian Society of Hair Restoration to surgeons who demonstrate a mastery in their field.

Co-creator, Follicular Isolation Technique (FIT): Dr. Rose is co-creator of this highly refined method of isolating and extracting individual follicular units for transplantation. Using FIT, Dr. Rose is able to more precisely extract donor hair for a more natural end-result.

Creator, Ledge Trichophytic Closure: Dr. Rose developed a unique “ledge” trichophytic closure technique that significantly reduces the appearance of post-operative donor area scarring. This is accomplished by artfully guiding hair to grow through the line from which donor follicles are extracted, effectively camouflaging the area.
