According to me, myself & I, I think Billy from Predator is a distant relative of the Comanche tribe in Prey. He's a great tracker, too.

If anyone doesn’t know the predator lore, that particular predator is a feral, prides itself on not wearing much armour, likes using hand to hand style combat, you can also tell by its face, and weapons, and fights with a wreckless yet extremely aggressive mind set, gathering scars an such are its trophies aswell, hence a feral predator.
The “Super” predator in predators is actually called a beserker, it will kill other predators.
The first predator movies used bloodborn assassins, which are the ones that survived the xenomoph trials on the pyramids. The ones that died at the pyramid, were Un blooded predators. There not aloud to use plasma caster or there shoulder cannon until they kill there first alien, with hand to hand tactics.

One scene that stood out to me: The predator standing, invisible. A lowly ant climbs on his boot, takes no notice. A fat rat sits near him, takes no notice. Snake snatches the rat, still takes no notice. Snake, being a predator, senses a presence, drops rat and says I know you there, I can smell you. Predator takes notice because this animal noticed him and was ready to rumble. Of course snake loses, but I thought it perfectly showed how the Predator, first one this planet, worked his way up the food chain, and there were obviously other scenes where this was illustrated until he finally met the apex predator of Earth. I thought that was cool

It was a very good movie. As a fan of the franchise, one thing I noticed was this predator carried no prior trophies when it arrived. It is possible this was a young predator that was on his first off world hunt 🤷‍♂

I felt that every skill Naru obtained to eventually kill the Predator was brilliantly explained without ruining the pace of the movie to explain it to you. For explain, when Naru isn’t hunting the rabbits effectively, she created a rope to treats her axe like a tomahawk and save time getting it back when she throws. We didn’t need to see Naru hunting again after she created her weapon because that would ruin the pace of the movie, we just need to see how she problem solves in a way that let the viewer know she thinks outside the box. Her critical thinking skills and ability to think ahead also make it believable that she can kill the Predator. Throughout the movie Naru studies the Predator’s patterns and exploits his routine in order to defeat it. When Naru realizes the Predator jumps trees to get around, she puts spikes on them. When Naru sees the Predator’s is strong enough to decapitate someone, she puts her head in between rocks to literally save her head. Naru even realizes the the medicine she uses on other to cool their bodies makes her invisible to the Predator. It’s not that different from the original Predator movie when you think about it.

Did anyone elso notice that the Feral Predator's peers learned from its mistake of leaving tracks for the humans to find? Billy comments a couple times about not finding any tracks in the original film.

Best Predator movie ever made! And man I hope they continue doing different periods of time! Seeing a predator against a Greek spartan! A samurai, Celtics, so many great societies of the past would be absolutely awesome to see and that’s what made this movie stand out!

I love the idea that predators have a sense of fairness. Then he becomes invisible and uses high tech against massively weaker animals.

This one was really good this director gets it. Keep it simple and rack up the kill count. But we need a story where the Pred win.

The Predator is always upgrading & learning from previous hunts. The shoulder cannon was upgraded so it is less likely to be used against it again. Less “tracks” which is called out in the original predator by Billy.

The narrator in this video is wrong about this being the earliest timeline they visited Earth. In Aliens vs Predator they were here thousands of years ago. I watched Prey dubbed in Comanche with English subtitles for a more authentic feel. I loved this movie and in my opinion this was the best of all of the Predator movies. This had a Revenant feel to it. It was nice to see something different from the earlier movies. The death scenes were more grittier and I liked seeing slightly less tech than what is usually portrayed. This Predator has a creepy resemblance to the mythical Skin Walker/Wendigo that Native people's have told stories of.

So, I’m gonna put this out there since I’m not seeing any comments relating to the end credit and how the predators got the pistol from Naru.

Traditionally when being given a gift in most Native American culture, it’s customary to give something back in return if you can. So it’s my opinion when the Predator clan came down to retrieve their fallen hunters body they also came to honor Naru and give her something for her victory to honor her, she would feel compelled to give something to them (the pistol).

Basically, she gathered info everytime she encountered The Predator as she was viewed as "no threat" for the most part, just for her to outsmart the much more powerful and seemingly more dangerous opponent, given that particular Yautja had never encountered her people or anything on earth before and he didn't know of their battle tactics, brains over braun at its finest, Great movie! 8.5/10

Innovative combat scenes without use of guns. It’s so easy to go that way but the film became more exciting hooking you with unpredictability. Awesome film!

The name of the dog, homage to the actor Sonny Landham (rip) who played Billy the merc and tracker who died like a Native American warrior. "There's something in the trees, Major."

I can't believe you missed the part where she screams "Get to the Chopper!"
