Awesome recipe. I have been making my own setting spray for years using, distilled water, glycerin and rose water. I definitely want to try this one out as well.

Given witch hazel is usually distilled and suspended in alcohol (which can be very drying and is recommended against for anti aging purposes) I opted to use a percentage of witch hazel to rose water
so for a 100ml empty fix plus bottle ends up with a ratio of

15ml witch hazel

60ml rose water

10ml aloe vera

10ml vegetable glycerin

with a few drops of bio oil, (it's pretty much overprices vitamin e oil but I was given it so hey)

and a few squirts of the Ordinary's caffeine solution ( as the fix plus has caffeine as an ingredient)

The oils I used aren't hydrogenated as they are in the actual fix plus so they do separate and will need to be shaken before application, and it's not a direct copy to the fix plus, but it works pretty well,
and smells lovely

Unless you have dry skin, I would decrease the amount of glycerine as it can leave the skin sticky and heavy

I think people need to be careful; since many people break out and get very dry skin (very important during the winter) from witch hazel, and most glycerin doesn't list specifically what plant it comes from (sunflower or soybean usually, which are both very allergenic).

Dude!! I Tottes Knew that bottle! I just came across some old VS 'love spell' body mist in a box. Anyhoo, love your makeup setting spray recipe. ah i made this mist last summer just to use for after mosturizer mist. But anyways instead of aloe vera gel i used aloe vera water, rose hips water, essence and glycerin
