Thank you for this! Perfect timing - I’m in the middle of uploading a ton of shorts, but many of them are a few seconds too long. If I trim them in FCPX, then export, the file size is 5 to 10 times the size of the original! Using YT Studio will save time and a ton of file space on my desktop computer.

I downloaded this just so I could shorten some rehearsal videos in my playlist. I see the videos, but I don't have an edit button. When I click on the video it takes me to YouTube to view the whole thing. Is there a piece I have to purchase to edit them?

I'd used it early on my YouTube journey to change music and that was it

I had to change out music in the editor once. Seemed to work fine.

you should say that each time you cut a segment of the video you have to wait for youtube, for who knows how long, to process each change. So if you video has multiple segments needing cutting out this can take days
