Funding Your Capital One Secured Card

Once you’ve been approved for a Capital One Secured Card, it will be time to fund your card. You can use the online portal to make your minimum deposit by submitting it all at once or over time in increments. You can even deposit more than the minimum before you activate your card to get a higher credit line.

Be sure to fund at least your minimum deposit before the funding window closes so you can unlock your credit line. Once the funds have cleared, your card will be shipped and on its way.

After using your card responsibly, you could qualify for an upgrade and receive your deposit back as a statement credit.
