Epsom salt solution (MgSO4(aq)) in top of Gatorade bottle that has been cut and turned upside down.

All-metal thumb tacks are pressed through the cap, and touch the leads of a 9V battery.

Gases are being collected in two small test tubes, inverted, first filled with solution, and then placed over tack points.
