How to FIX Camera Lag in OBS & StreamLabs with Elgato Cam Link 4K

Thats bcus the ports on the back have mostly multiple devices plugged in and need to share bandwith between those ports, so the camlink cant use the full range and there is your issue. The ports on the front however are isolated from the back ones so that means having only the camlink in there and nothing else will provide all bandwidth it needs to have a smooth image & zero lagg. I hope this explains it a bit better 😉

bro I wanna say thank you.. 3 hours I’m sitting down here feeling confuse as to why my video quality for recording is very stuttering. Constant frame drop… check google with no solution. You’re the ONLY video i’ve stumbled upon that had resolved my issue.




I just change my usb port to the blue usb port and that did it.

the picture looks great, still got lagging after trying to fix it your way unfortunately, it did look better ended up getting a AJA USB 3.1 to HDMI and its solid
