Im 59 years old. I take care of my Dad, who is 85 years old. I am going through that right now. He was told he had to spend down to qualify for home health care. Now he's living check to check. Thank you for listening to us and our needs.

I had the same experience with my dad but thankfully, Singapore parents can tap on Children's medisave if they have little to pay for medical expenses. I was grateful to be able to take care of him until his final days.

My Aunt and I took care of my Mom. Breast cancer. It would have helped me to have this support. I worked full time, was pregnant, and knew divorce was on my horizon. I wouldn't have had the time with my Mom without my Aunt. We needed respite but couldn't afford home health care. I voted for Kamala two days ago.

I’m caring for my Mom now through a bad fall, and previous cardiac surgeries. It was my Dad before this with Alzheimer’s and finding his last living assisted living placement for my Mom and the financial drain was astronomical for them. And was a conservator for my brother in another state while having to find a men’s home that he could survive on basic Social Security and manage his mental health medication. In addition care for two heart surgeries and skin cancer for my husband I’m 63 and never thought I would need this much nursing talents in my life. Advocation for loved ones should not be as difficult and mentally exhausting. I hope you are able to help with these issues. All the best.
