Trigun New Vs Old Part 4

Got to say original was a sweet and good natured moment the new one seems pretty creepy and almost predatory in comparison.

A lot of people says how one scene is better than the other. But both are great In their own context. Because that's the point, both scene have a totally different context, this is why the tone is different.

I would even say that in the new Trigun, this scene is specifically directed towards people that have watched the first Trigun. To make them realize even more that something is off about this situation. The weird atmosphere is there to make the spectator suspicious of Wolf, but mostly the kid.

You can't compare two scene with totally opposite intentions and says that on is better without considering that a scene sets itself in a context.

Most of the people here in the comment section seem to not understand that these two are completely different shows with completely different approaches to their storytelling.

If you feel discomfort at the scene in Trigun Stampede, then congratulations! You felt exactly the way you were intended to feel watching it.

In the new one Wolfwood sounds scary and kinda like he forces the kid to eat it. The old one is just sweeter and more natural, also the va.
When it goes to designs, the new one may look better, but I still prefer the old one, cause he looks unique, especially his nose always stood out to me. In the new one they straight up stole it😭

Granted Wolfwood knows that its Zazie in the new one and knows that they're just planted there to bait the gang, while in the old one it is actual kids. He's just playing the part of a nice guy in the new one but he doesn't like the kid to begin with 🤣🤣

Wolfwood sounds like an alcoholic in the New one. In the old one he really fits the badass but also kind priest. No flack on the new one I'm glad he's back

I love both series but these are two completely different scenes on purpose. If you watch both scenes with context they both make sense.

I didn’t like that they did the lollipop thing with zazy the beast in the new one cuz it defeats the purpose of making wolfwood seem nice when they’re both working for the bad guys at the time. It just makes wolfwood seem like he’s trying to prove he’s nice to vash not that he’s actually nice. And the music in the new one def makes him so much creepier.

The story is different and Trigun Stampede is feel like the Prequel eventhough it is an remake entirely

I mean, yeah.... the old trigun was better in terms of heart and wholesome moments that let us just breathe and enjoy the dystopian world that they were in. But that just isn't what the new one is about and I think that's what kinda turns people off on the remake. Stampede is a new version of the old story in a much more story focused narrative. The 3d models are, admittedly, hit or miss in certain scenes, but 3d animation has come a LONG WAY since the days of 2015 Berserk. And the animation is honestly really good and I'm honestly pretty happy with getting a story that focuses more on the plant side of Vash and Knives. And also makes Knives a lot more tolerable because I just didn't like how off the cuff he was in the original when we had so many good and character rich people before him, and then Knives was just the insane villain behind it all and that was it.

So many of these comments aren’t really thinking and are just writing the new one off completely. I’m a fan of the old Trigun (both the manga and the anime), but y’all really REALLY need to realize that the OG and Stampede are not the same anime. Stampede is very clearly taking a different spin on the original content. I don’t think it’s fair to compare something that you prefer because you’re used to it to something that is meant to be different, and then complain that it is different.
