What you said about honking and driving annoyingly at student drivers is completely the opposite in my country Austria. People drive very carefully and considerately when they see an “L17” Sticker on the car (Student Driver Symbol). I can't imagine how annoying that must be to have that happen to you when you're already nervous. On the other hand, we also learn to drive manually and automatically and driving licenses cost a lot in this country and the training is very long and complicated, so I’m a bit jealous of you guys!
Good luck to Claire! :)

Man that's so weird. In Saskatchewan Canada you have your learners license for 6months, all u do is drive an hour for your test. You have to provide your own vehicle and the instructor sits in the passenger. The test is a drive around town and they tell you where to turn you can get a maximum of 20 points. For example I did like 5 or 6 lazy shoulder checks and got out with 19/20

Our school uses Tesla Model 3. A ton of people are looking for our school but our company likes to spend money on quality instructors and on students’ experience and not so much on google ads. Appreciate this video. We are located in Calabasas/Los Angeles.

Have you tried to put on the seatbelt on the driver side without anyone sitting there?

In America, are you allowed to drive a stick/manual shift if you take your drivers licensen with automatic shift? In Europe you are not allowed to drive manual if you took your license in an automatic or electric car. Most cars sold here is still with manual shift.

OMG it is so true. I hired a private instructor and she HATED puting the Student Driver sign on the car. People ride your bumper, honk, crowd your lane, brake check, I even had a guy pass me and switch lanes, cutting me off, IN a multi lane intersection. Guess it's not just a Canadian thing.

Leslie is a good sport for helping out!! My drivers ed car? a 1982 Datsun B210, and of course my Dad's 1976 Buick Skylark 2 door coupe, which was rusting/falling apart.
Yes, I've been driving over 40 years. Guess I'm working towards being old. Oh yeah, I've never been in a Tesla.

In a company i used in MI, the cars only had a break for the passengers side, not both gas and break. I don't know what Utah is doing, but its very different.

People getting offended and mad at just seeing Tesla's will always be ironic to me, considering what political side those type of people usually are, tbh I lean towards that side bit I'm a huge ev head, y'all gotta chill out and think about the long term more man

My son learned to drive in my Tesla Model 3. Then he took Drivers Ed at school in a gas car. It made him appreciate my Model 3.
