Flight tests with our 5th Generation Demonstrator

This summer, we restarted our flight test campaign with this current demonstrator which includes a redesigned battery system and optimized sound signature - the best possible testbed for our 7-Seater serial aircraft.

After all these years, still tinted windows so we can't see it's flying empty and barely able to take off. What are you doing, people. If the small ducted fan design doesn't work, change it.

This looks similar to the Oct 2019 video. Slightly larger aircraft, but nothing new or different in terms of flight. Up, a low-altitude loop, down. No live sound, so you can't hear the thing. I look forward to more videos!

This type of video keeps coming up on that channel. If we should judge progress based on the information provided it seems you had 0 progress for 4 years, just demonstrating the VTOL operation over and over again with some „proud engineering“ voice over. Imagine having SpaceX vids of some 10 hops of their Grasshoppers and Elon saying in the background: „we are so proud bla bla“. Of course he doesn’t because the progress shown is just none. I’m sure you did transitions to horizontal and hopefully full cruise speed tests but please SHOW THAT instead of the 10th „when you see this fly bla bla bla“ video. This DESTROYS TRUST. I’m so sad because I’m a huge fan of yours but please provide raw footage of your real progress!!

This is the result of 300 people x 5 years? Why are the advances so slow? Lillium should admitt that they are waiting for a new gen battery that can give 200kW for 1-2 minutes.
