7 High Estrogen Foods Every Man MUST Avoid!

When it comes to hormones and their optimization for muscle and strength gains, testosterone usually takes the spotlight, while estrogen, another important hormone, often remains overlooked.

Unfortunately, there’s been a steady decline in testosterone levels among men in recent years.

The question then becomes: what's causing this decline?

A fresh perspective on our dietary choices might hold the answer.

While we often focus on macronutrients such as protein when aiming to build muscle, we must also consider the compounds found in various foods and how modern food processing methods might impact our hormone balance.

Phytoestrogens, for example, are compounds found in food that mimic estrogen.

And while they simply act like plant-based versions of estrogen, our bodies process them similarly to natural estrogen.

Interestingly, even certain animal-derived products can contain high levels of this feminizing hormone.

That said, if your goal is to optimize your hormone levels in order to build muscle, lose fat, and gain strength optimally, then there are certain foods you may want to steer clear of.

And that’s exactly what I want to discuss in this video: 7 high estrogen foods every man must avoid.

Many of the things on this list have been a staple of human diet around the world for thousands of years and only now we seeing dropping testosterone levels. In addition dropping testosterone levels is a worldwide phenomenon indicating it is likely not a diet issue. I am suspicious of these claims.

I went Carnivore 2 years ago. Lost 120 lbs and at 65, I'm still walking 3 miles a day with my dogs. My BMI is around 20, and don't take any meds, save for the occasional NSAID. Clean up your diet and live! Keep moving or die my friends!

Health influencers: "Raisins are high in boron and raise testosterone. Also Health Influencers: "Raisins raise estrogen levels." Got it.

In the past year, I have stopped consuming foods and drinks that are high in sugar like sodas, candies, alcoholic beverages, cookies, and cakes and cake like snacks, and I have increased consumption of fruits and smoothies with fruits and have found that I am feeling better and more active now.

What we also need to know is whether it is possible to consume any one of these products at the same time as another food or drink, so that the potential negative effect of one would be cancelled or balanced out by the other. A kind of symbiotic effect. It's like your old grandmother's advice to eat your greens with a dab of butter. That makes perfect sense, as most of the vitamins in greens are fat soluble, so your body needs a fat (like butter) to be ingested at the same meal, to be able to access the vitamins. The problem with these scientific studies is that they look at the effect of certain foods in isolation. But we don't eat or drink that way. We eat foods in combination with other foods. It's the combination of this with that, which determines the overall effect the meal has.

The impacts are negligable compared to a sedentary lifestyle, the state of the air we breathe. I est a tonne of soy, soy milk, and legumes and my tesosterone levels are very high and my estrogen levela are at a normal healthy range (yes, we need estrogen for healthy functioning - its not the devil and eating soy and legumes isnt going to change your hormones). Anyone who thinks excluding certain foods is going to have a great impact on their health, performance, are deluding themselves. Videos like this dont help anyone. They just make people obsessive over minor things while ignoring lifestyle, training efficiency, mental welbeing.

I have been a bit paranoid about soy products and some legumes like Chick peas, but I think, the refined carbs and alcohol are probably more detrimental.

I recently went on Keto, and I gave up pretty much all of the foods listed. It’s been 6 weeks, and I can tell a big difference!

16 days ago my back neighbor had an accident, I went over the 6ft wall using a ladder, getting back was a problem and I realized that I had lost a lot of my strength. I retired at 63 and now 69, shoulder opps both shoulders and colon cut out and a "Parke's pouch" in it's place and now am a skinny fat person. I did not like this so I started on the 100 push ups challenge with some other exercises. I ordered some weights and slim down protein powder. Now every day day I do 4 times 20 push ups and every second day I include weight training, it's going to take time to get my strength back and slim down so your input is much appreciated.

Everything in moderation guys. No need to avoid perfectly healthy foods in appropriate quantities. Lift weights, exercise and get enough protein, you will be just fine

I can fully live without the rest - in fact, the month I did a crash diet of exclusively eating braised pork with tatos and rrots was when I had the best health ever - but nothing stands between my only snack option and long life juice.

I’d say alcohol and soda are the most easily avoidable things on this list
