Hi, I’m Krista! I make math courses to keep you from banging your head against the wall. ;)

Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”

I really LOVE that you don't just skip through a process but show each step along the way.

For example I was really stuck in my calculus book, on the why/how the dv had acquired a fraction(1/3 in this case) that was suddenly apart of the dv to v process. You rock! thank you, thank you, thank you.

PS - his is the SECOND time your videos have made clear a major detail that my calculus book has glossed over. For life saving details in calculus you are the queen!

ohh I get it now lol. so we divide by derivative when integrating and multiply when differentiating. Now that clears things up. Thanks a lot Kristy.

you are the best! I don't know how to express my feeling to you. I pay my professor a lot of money in school, but couldn't learn anything from him. Ironically, you have taught me much more than he you so much again.By the way, i love your accent though!

the chain rule tells you to multiply be the derivative when you're taking a derivative, but when you're integrating it tells you to divide by the derivative. this makes sense, since integration is the opposite of derivation, and dividing is the opposite of multiplying! :) glad you liked the video!! :D
