Thanks. For real blood, peroxide alone did the job for me every time.

For blood and red wine stains use hydrogen peroxide [don't dilute] then spray Vanish Oxi Action Pro on top. Leave for 10 mins then clean with a brush, add a little water, brush again then soak up with a clean cloth or use a wet and dry vacuum if you have one. Repeat the process if needed. From a professional carpet cleaner.

Vinegar is a great cleaner separately from baking soda, which is also a great cleaner separate from vinegar. - if you combine the two, they will cancel out each other's cleaning properties. (Vinegar is acidic and baking soda is alkaline= cancel out each other.) The fizziness is the cleaners cancelling out each other. Although it looks cool.

It's been my experience that you will never fully get rid of urine odor from a mattress! The only solution for urine is to buy a new mattress! Waterproof mattress covers are a must!

Hi blood gets clean so well with straight hydrogen peroxide no water. The new stuff being sold in stores is diluted so may need to find the right brand.
