A physical release of "A Short Hike" might seem counterintuitive because of its short length, but it makes a lot of sense as a gift.

That person can easily lend the game to a friend and one cart could see an all new life from each new player.

Yeah, the almost year long wait after preordering from limited run has really turned me off from their products. So good to know they have them made and ready to go!

Definitely trying for that collector's edition for A Short Hike. I don't care for value, it's just gorgeous and vibrant and I feel happy just looking at it

The JP train game is a must buy for me. Very tricky -- its title only differs in ONE WORD from the previous game in the series that released Dec 21. The word "Meichi" which Google Translate tells me means "clear knowledge" here is substituted for "Sangi" in the previous game, which Google Translate tells me means "three branches". The covers look significantly different though, so I'm assuming it's a completely different selection of train routes. We'll see! I find this series of games endlessly relaxing, and easy to play without knowledge of Japanese.

Strictly Limited is getting a lot faster lately. It took them about 3 months for Hammerwatch, Aero, Rising Hell etc. Also, I think the Jaja Maru Collection will include a few more games than the Japanese release. As a physical collector, the manual that comes with their releases is the #1 reason why I am buying off them. Happy to wait if my game includes a manual.
