So a necessary being is possible only in imaginary scenarios where infinities are possible. Got it.

This is obviously circular reasoning: “The universe must have a first cause because everything has a first cause”. But “everything has a first cause” is the very thing that is up for debate.



It´s true that in our everyday life everything seems to be structured as a chain of events, each of them dependent on the one preceding them. But that doesn't in any way prove that the same is true for the origin of the universe. It's like saying that the physical laws of the quantum world can be no different than the one we observe of the macro world.



It may in fact be true that the universe needs a first cause, but you can't reach this conclusion with simple deduction.

This is Thomas Aquinas' first cause concept, which is a form of special pleading, itself a logical fallacy. Even if it were true, the first cause wouldn't necessarily lead back to anyone's personally preferred version of a god, which is what's being proselytized here.
