i was born in 1990 and i feel like Deftones have been there for every major event in my life thus far.. from first love to heartbreak & every relationship in between. from the thrilling joy of birth of friends and family, to feeling completely broken down because of untimely death. i'm not sure if this makes much sense, but i know i'm not the only one who feels like their music is a hint of what the other side feels like. thank you, we miss you Chi.

My parents literally met over deftones. ive known about them for the longest time but im just only getting into them in the past year, being a young teen and such. hearing that one of their band members had died a couple years back felt like even i had lost a close friend, even though i didnt know of his existence when he died. im glad to see that they finally played this song live, after its sat in public for so long.
