Its frustrating when our family and friends don't understand how we feel when we look fine. The word arthritis really puts a damper on the full disease. It's automatically assumed it's just joint pain. I find myself saying my autoimmune system has flared up lol

Thankyou - you are so helpful.
I have been recently and very suddenly diagnosed with RA after an infection so it was a bit of a shock and really struggling both physically and mentally- on Sulfasalazine but experiencing side affects sadly 😢so seeing my Rheumatologist tomorrow to discuss!
I will look at support groups - I joined the “Versus Arthritis” forum, which is excellent and helpful and as I am in the UK will have to research others here.

12 yrs being diagnose RA i take prednisone as my maintainance 5 mg as my rheumatologist prescribe.

I don't know yet if I have RA, as I'm awaiting the results of the blood test. But I've watched many of your videos and am following the anti-inflammatory diet. I exercise daily and watch my posture. The things I do to manage stress are yoga, meditation, exercise, sound healing & breath work, & Reiki. I'm also considering trying Acupuncture. Have you seen any of your patients respond positively to trying approaches that aren't specifically related to medication, exercise, sleep & diet and include some of the techniques I've outlined?

I have my knee arthritis before but it's treated ready but many years passed then now I have this terrible frozen shoulder pain that leads to difficult moves especially in sleeping same to impingement or bursitis more than amonth now I don't want steroid injection
