After traveling to more than 25 states and living in an RV full-time for 3 years, we've finally chosen where to move. If you're thinking about moving, let us show you all the thing you must consider and 4 common mistakes people make when deciding where to live.

There's a lot of factors that you need to consider before your move, but they can be overwhelming. Let us help you cut through the noise and decide on the factors that are most important to you.

Factors to decide your move:
- Cost of living (general - taxes, houses, groceries, food)
- Crime rates
- Demographics (young, old, family, population breakdowns, etc...)
- Job opportunity (if not remote)
- Pace of life
- Political leanings
- Proximity to airports
- Proximity to the terrain you like (beach, mountains, plains, desert)
- Proximity to family
- Religious leanings
- School district and/or cost of private school
- Social / Professional Networking Groups
- Things to do (restaurants, parks, events, museums, art galleries, etc...)
- Type of City: Big City vs. Small City vs. Suburb vs. Rural
- Traffic & Walkability (drive, walk, public transit? and the commute)
- Weather
- Your budget & Your Timeline & Your Flexibility

Private vs Public schools in regards to housing is a major ninja tip. Pay attention to this people.

My husband's getting out of the army and, after moving every year for the last seven years, trying to figure out where to settle down has been OVERWHELMING! This video helped me a lot. Thank you!

I live in Gulf Shores, and your town is my go-to when the beach fills up. :) Welcome to Alabama!

I wish every dog could have as good a life as yours obviously do. So cute to see the little one absolutely sacked out in Hanna's arms.

Thank you for this video! I am in a stage in my life where I think I need to relocate to a different area for my own happiness. I'm kind of overwhelmed at the logistics of the entire thing and I appreciate how down to Earth this video is. Thanks again

My favorite area of the country! When my son got to train at Keesler, I was fortunate to visit often. We would always go to Mobile and Pensacola! You are blessed for sure! When my husband retired from law enforcement, we moved from super hot Arizona to southern Idaho. Very pretty here, and it is exploding with people. When my youngest graduates, I’d like to look at the Gulf Coast but if one of my kids has kids, that may change things...

Lots of things we didn’t consider. Great tips as usual. We went for rural land and a lake!

Excellent timing! Had a friend text me this week about a job opening in my specialty at an academic hospital within her health system in Dallas, Texas! The wife and I have been pondering what a move would look like across the country should I apply to the position. Family would be the big one for us, we are within 2 hours of family and Chicago, so moving to Dallas where we only know one couple would be a huge change! Cost of living (way higher) and commute (10 min now vs potentially 35-50 min) another! It is very hard as an analytical person to know at some point you have to look at the “soft” (family, friends, atmosphere, “feel”, culture, job satisfaction) reasons/line items vs the “hard” (salary, benefits, climate, budget, CoL, commute, crime)!

True to your channel name in making this decision. Ugg... we just up and moved to a Caribbean without ever being here or knowing anything about it. One thing about is moving is that it one of those decisions that is easily undone. You'll like it there. We left Panama City Beach to move to the Caribbean.

Great video guys. We just went through this process a couple years ago and ended up in Florida from California, it was a great move for us.

You guys are such a charismatic couple! And excellent advice and video structure. What a breath of fresh air between the cringe 'Hit that like button now before we continue' type of videos 🙄❤️
