This is Track #6 from the 1990 Believer album "Sanity Obscure"

This is the second album from Believer and in my opinion shows some real maturity in the band. Now normally I'm not too quick to praise a thrash album but this one is actually pretty good. I mean musically it's very good and in fact I think I would really like it with normal vocals. BUT this is not what the band is so I will evaluate the album for what it is. I will say this is the first Thrash album I have ever listened to more than once, yea really, it's that good. The band claims they recorded the whole album in 2 weeks which I find quite surprising as the production is very good. Oh well if your not a thrash kind of person hey try listening to "Like A Song", it's actually a pretty cool cover of U2.

In an effort to post your requests we have been paying for albums out of our own pockets both physical and digital but the costs have become a bit prohibitive. If can help us out by participating in a little crowd funding you can get some special perks.

I love and Deliverance are my two favorite "thrash/speed" metal bands. What I love about Believer is the very cool strings, organs, and other "classical" music elements they incorporate! I mean, I could listen to the intro to the song "Extraction From Mortality" and never tire of used to walk by the ocean at night after I got off work and listen to it over and over. Something about it just draws these deep emotions out of me that I didn't even know were there. Actually one of the few Christian metal bands I actually got to see live when I was interning at a college radio station. I didn't talk a lot to them, but they made themselves available, and very approachable to visit with. Very nice and humble guys from my experience. My friend who went with me who was in a band that him and some other friends of mine were in that I roadied for a few times, talked the drummer's ear off to drummer....there was a reason his nickname was "Animal" that boy could drum! They actually were offered a record deal from one of the smaller independent labels like the one that Saint started want to say it was Morada Records, but I'm not sure. Unfortunately, they had broken up just a few months earlier and reuniting just wasn't going to be of the guys had made some pretty big moves. "Animal" was actually talking to Nancyjo (of Barnabas of course) about possibly working with her while she was recovering from her accident about, what is it now, maybe 7 years? It just didn't pan I really went of course blessings to anyone who actually read this whole thing!
